CropStack Weather

Freeze alerts and forecast intelligence for commercial farms in the United States.

What it does

CropStack Weather watches the forecast for every crop block you register and warns you when freezing temperatures are coming. It combines National Weather Service and Open-Meteo data with the critical temperatures for your specific crop, variety, and bud stage, then sends a plain-language alert in time to protect the crop — for example, to start irrigation before a freeze. It replaces refreshing weather apps all night during a freeze event.

Daily forecast email

A morning summary of conditions and any risk to your blocks over the coming days.

SMS freeze alerts

Time-sensitive text warnings when a freeze threatens a registered block — opt-in, sent only when it matters.

Per-block thresholds

Risk is computed against the critical and lethal temperatures for your crop, variety, and bud stage.

Text-message freeze alerts

Growers can opt in to receive freeze warnings by SMS on the blocks they register. SMS is off by default and requires explicit consent. Learn how the program works, see sample messages, and how to opt out on the SMS program page.
